Azerbaijani parliamentarians Mrs.Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, Mrs.Gultakin Hajibayli and Mrs.Malahat Ibrahimgizi paid visit to the Romanian capital of Bucharest, 14 January 2010.

        On the first day of the trip the MPs met members of the Azerbaijan-Romania interparliamentary friendship group and Romanian officials to discuss prospects for strengthening cooperation between legislative bodies of two countries.

        Mrs.Govhar Bakhshaliyeva was awarded a medal of pride of the Romanian Parliament.

        The parliamentarians also met representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas, as well as visited Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Romanian-Azerbaijani Friendship Society and Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
