The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Romania organized an official reception on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan.

        At the event was presented a photo exhibition entitled "Azerbaijan yesterday and today" and the documentary "Azerbaijan and Romania - friendship forever." The film presents the history, the rich culture, the nature of a special beauty of Azerbaijan, the economic progress achieved in the past years, friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania, the official opening ceremonies in Bucharest of the park, which is named by the national leader of azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev and Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania.

        The guests have been introduced to the publications "Heydar Aliyev - a Ataturk of our ?poque", "Short History of Azerbaijan", "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud", "Leyli and Majnun" and "Gazelle" by the author Muhammed Fuzuli, to the books of Bahtiar Vahabzade, Anar, Elcin, Chingiz Abdullayev, Elcin Iskenderzade, Ali Ildyrymoglu.

        The event was attended by former presidents of Romania Ion Iliescu and Emil Constantinescu, members of Romanian Government, parliamentarians and senators, leaders of political parties, members of public organizations and foundations, public figures, diplomats, representatives of Tatar and Turkish communities, members of Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Association, Romanian-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and SOCAR in Romania, students of ours in this country.
