The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency, Mister Ilham Aliyev and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan express their sincere condolence over the natural disasters, which has led to the death of some Romanian citizens and has caused significant prejudice for some counties from the North of the country. The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania, the "Heydar Aliyev" Foundation Representation in Romania, Bilateral Chamber of Industry and Commerce Romania-Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan community in Romania organized a visit in Suceava County to offer a humanitarian aid.

        On the behalf of the President and Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania purchased food, medicines for the victims of the disaster.

        The Embassy of the Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania hopes that with the joint efforts, support and assistance of the friendly countries, international organizations and Romanian Government the consequences of the natural disasters will be eliminated.

        Due to the historical friendship and brotherhood between our countries, which in the last years passed to the level of strategic partnership, Azerbaijan is ready in each moment to offer, hereinafter, any needful assistance to the friendly people of Romanian.
