PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV IN PLOIESTI

        President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Romanian city of Ploiesti on Tuesday.

        The Head of State visited the Clock Museum here. The museum founded in 1963 has 500 items and is the only one of this kind in the Eastern Europe. The sun dial, the burning clocks, the clocks with water and sand are on display at the museum.

        Then, President Ilham Aliyev inspected the National Oil Museum in Ploiesti, which presents the history of the Romanian Oil Industry. The museum was founded in 1959.

        President Aliyev also visited the Ploiesti Oil and Gas University.

        Here, Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the University`s Prorector Mihai Dimitrascu.

        After viewing auditoria and informatics laboratory, the Azerbaijani leader familiarized himself with a minerals exhibition in the hall of the University.

        He then signed the University`s Guest Book.

        Later the same day, President Aliyev was interviewed by Carel Roman, correspondent of the international magazine "The Balkans and Europe".


PRESIDENT ALIYEV ENDS ROMANIAN VISIT

        Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev ended his visit to Romania Tuesday and headed home.

        At the Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest, he was seen off by Romania`s senior governmental officials.
