On October 18th in Bucharest was organized an action on the occasion of fifteenth anniversary of restoration by Azerbaijan the state independence.

        On the action, with participation of representatives of the Romanian state and the government, deputies, scientists, literatures and arts, businessmen, members of the Society of Friendship Romania-Azerbaijan and the Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, and also azerbaijanians living and trained here, ambassador Eldar Hasanov has told about friendship and cooperation between our countries, has emphasized exclusive merits of national leader Heydar Aliyev in preservation of independence.

        At the ceremony it was spoken about political and economic reforms which are carried out in the country under direction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the successes reached during integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures and democratization. Also has been noted the successful official visit of the President of Romania Traian Basescu to Azerbaijan and historical value of the documents signed during the visit.

        On the action has been shown the documentary film about Azerbaijan, and also has took place the concert program in which played the musical group under the conduct of violinist Maestro Jeyhun. Besides, have been presented to participants the books published in the romanian language, booklets, magazines and newspapers about Azerbaijan.
